Аннотация: Discontinuous systems of differential equations with aftereffect and infinite-dimensional phase space of continuous functions are studied. We determine the structure of the varieties of the discontinuity points of the right-hand sides of the equations and some methods for determining the solutions by analogy with known concepts for ordinary differential equations with the discontinuous right-hand part without delay. Specific features of "sliding modes" are illustrated by an example of an automatic control system of the regulator type with a delay in the control.
