Аннотация: We consider a mixed problem for a certain semilinear differential-algebraic system of partial differential equations of index (1, 0) of the first order in a two-dimensional rectangular definition domain. Using the method of characteristics and the method of successive approximations, we prove the unique existence of the classical solution to the mixed problem in the whole definition domain. We also prove that the solution and its first derivatives are bounded in this domain.
